Job summary

Alabare is seeking an Enablement & Transition Officer in Salisbury to support people facing homelessness with practical, trauma-informed assistance. The role focuses on building stability, confidence and independence through tailored housing-related support and skill development.

You'll work within a 24/7 capable service, requiring flexibility including evenings and weekends, and demonstrate strengths-based, person-centred practice to help clients progress toward safer housing and longer-term

Qualifications

• Experience of working in supported housing or a related field.
• Ability to work unsupervised and on own initiative.
• Excellent written, verbal and non-verbal communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive housing-related, practical and transition-focused support.
• Help clients maintain their licence agreement, reduce risk and develop everyday living skills.
• Support clients to move towards suitable accommodation or longer-term independence.
