Job summary

PRA in Sydney is seeking a Frontend Software Engineer to join our Sydney-based team. You will build modern web applications using React and TypeScript in a collaborative engineering environment, shaping enterprise-scale solutions used by customers worldwide.

You'll work with Product, UX, Backend engineers and QA, contribute to frontend architecture, performance, and best practices, and participate in Agile ceremonies. Hybrid work and a 6-month contract with a competitive rate are on offer.

Qualifications

• Commercial experience with React and TypeScript.
• Strong JavaScript, HTML and CSS skills.
• Experience with Redux, Context API or Zustand.
• Exposure to REST APIs and modern web development practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for building quality software.

Responsibilities

• Building and enhancing React-based web applications.
• Developing new features and improving existing products.
• Working closely with Product, UX, Backend Engineers and QA teams.
• Contributing to frontend architecture, performance and best practices.
