Job summary

Hitech Asia Pacific in Canberra is seeking a Web Developer for a long-term Federal Government contract with hybrid working. The role focuses on building public-facing web applications using React and TypeScript, with an initial 12-month contract and potential extension.

You will design, develop, test and document modern web apps, integrate RESTful APIs, and contribute to Agile delivery in a Kanban/Scrum environment. Hybrid setup allows flexible onsite and remote work as required.

Qualifications

• Experience building public-facing web apps with React and TypeScript.
• Experience with Node.js, Express and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with SPA frameworks (Redux/MobX) and responsive design.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and integrate modern web applications and APIs.
• Develop responsive Single-Page Applications and reusable components.
• Implement automated testing and support system troubleshooting.
• Produce technical documentation and contribute to Agile delivery.
