Job summary

Stake is seeking a Front End Engineer in Sydney to join our Technology team. You’ll contribute to the design, development and operation of scalable front-end systems powering a large investor audience, working closely with Product, Design and Engineering.

This hybrid role offers ownership, opportunities for growth and the chance to influence architectural decisions while delivering high-quality software for thousands of customers.

Qualifications

• Experience building customer-facing front-end apps in modern engineering environments using TypeScript, Ionic and Angular.
• Strong focus on delivering polished, intuitive user experiences and scalable code.
• Ability to balance speed, quality and long-term maintainability.
• Ownership mindset with attention to performance, accessibility and maintainability.
• Collaborative team player who shares knowledge and uplifts the team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, performant front-end features that improve user experience and support business outcomes.
• Build and maintain accessible, responsive UIs and front-end services for growth.
• Own key front-end systems and design system components in production.
• Contribute to front-end architectural decisions to improve performance and maintainability.
• Write well-tested, maintainable code and participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with Product, Design and Engineering to craft polished customer experiences.
