We're Welcome in Darlinghurst, Australia, is seeking a mid-weight Front End Developer to build beautiful, high-performance digital products. You’ll work with an in-house design team, shaping products from brief to final pixel, and you'll be client-facing to ensure compelling, accessible experiences.

You’ll contribute ideas, stay current with front end tech, and collaborate across disciplines to deliver cohesive digital experiences.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of front end development experience in an agency or studio environment.
• Strong knowledge of modern frameworks such as React or Vue.js.
• Experience building on CMS platforms WordPress, Webflow, Contentful or Umbraco.
• Exceptional attention to detail and clear communication.
• Collaborative and client-facing with strong presentation skills.
• Familiar with AI tools in development workflows.

Responsibilities

• Translate design files into pixel-perfect, responsive front end builds — every time, no exceptions.
• Collaborate actively with the design team to contribute ideas, challenge assumptions, and help shape better digital products.
• Build and maintain websites and web applications across platforms including WordPress, Webflow, Contentful, and Umbraco.
• Write clean, efficient, well-documented code that your teammates can pick up and run with.
• Participate in client briefings, testing feedback sessions, and design reviews — contributing clearly and professionally.
• Stay current with the latest front end technologies, frameworks, and best practices.
• Share knowledge generously — mentoring where appropriate and learning just as openly.
• Integrate AI tools into your development workflow to improve speed, quality, and output.
• Identify opportunities to improve performance, accessibility, and user experience across client builds.
• Collaborate with our technical engineering, design, and strategy teams to deliver cohesive, high-quality digital experiences.
