Job summary

InterContinental Hayman Great Barrier Reef in Queensland, Australia, is seeking a Front Office Manager to deliver exceptional guest experiences and oversee all front office operations in a five-star luxury environment.

You will lead, coach and develop your team, guiding daily operations, staffing and performance while driving revenue through upselling and occupancy strategies. Collaborative leadership and guest-centric service are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree/ higher education in Hotel Management or Business Administration.
• Four years of guest service/hotel experience with two years in a management capacity.
• Fluent English; other languages are a plus.
• Driver’s License is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest experiences from arrival and maintain a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
• Oversee all front office operations ensuring prompt, professional, and personalised service.
• Lead, coach and develop the team to perform at their best and drive a positive culture.
• Manage daily operations, staffing, performance, revenue through upselling and occupancy strategies.
• Oversee financial processes including reporting, budgeting and cost control, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Support VIP guest experiences and collaborate across departments for continuous improvement.
