Job summary

ACT Fire and Rescue is seeking a Workforce Support Officer to deliver frontline HR rostering and staff support in a fast-paced public service setting.

You will coordinate complex rosters, manage leave, respond to staffing changes and liaise with operational management to ensure adequate coverage across stations. Eligibility requires Australian citizenship or permanent residency and a valid driver’s licence. This temporary role has a path to permanency.

Qualifications

• Experience managing complex workforce rostering and HR tasks.
• Familiarity with rostering software such as UKG Pro.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage workforce rostering for ACT Fire and Rescue.
• Interface with operational management to staff rosters, leave and station changes.
• Provide HR and remuneration system actions support.
