Job summary

Randstad in Townsville, QLD is seeking a reliable Front-End Loader Operator for a busy concrete batching facility. The role involves feeding raw materials into mixers, maintaining a safe and clean plant, and working in a high-traffic environment with other heavy vehicles.

Shifts start early (3:00–4:00 AM) with Monday to Friday mostly, occasional Saturday overtime. Must have loader experience, tickets, and be able to pass medical including drug and silica tests.

Qualifications

• Experience operating front-end loaders in construction, quarry, or batching plants.
• Relevant machinery tickets or statements of attainment.
• Strong focus on workplace health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate a front-end loader to load raw materials into mixers for concrete batching.
• Perform general manual labour across the facility as required.
• Maintain site cleanliness and environmental compliance, including yard hosing and debris removal.
• Work safely around other heavy vehicles, trucks and ground personnel.
• Conduct pre-start checks on machinery and report maintenance issues.
