Job summary

Strikeforce is hiring a Casual Merchandiser for the Hardware Team covering Port Macquarie and Kempsey. You will visit hardware outlets to merchandise stock, execute planograms to a high standard, and build strong relationships with store personnel.

A flexible schedule and occasional travel outside the area may be required. You must be 18+, have Australian working rights, a valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Must have full Australian working rights.
• Live in the advertised area or surrounding suburbs.
• Hold a current State Driver Licence and have a reliable vehicle.
• Physically able to lift stock up to 16 kg and perform site tasks.

Responsibilities

• Follow OH&S guidelines at all times.
• Manage product stock, positioning and ticketing per client expectations.
• Set up and maintain planograms and relays with accuracy and compliance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with store personnel.
• Provide accurate reporting using a personal smart device.
• Demonstrate time management and the ability to work under pressure.

About the Role

As a Strikeforce DIY Brand Activator, you will work within your allocated store/s representing a full range of high‑profile clients. You work within an allocated territory calling on hardware outlets, merchandising and completing Planograms to a high standard, as well as building & maintaining strong relationships within your stores & also work with our Projects Teams within Bunnings and other DIY retailers.

You will need to have a flexible approach as work schedules can change with short notice and travel outside the area may be required on occasions.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Following Strict OH&S guidelines
• Product Management (Stock levels/ Position/ Ticketing) in line with our client’s expectations
• Planograms / Relays - Executions & Compliance
• Building & maintaining strong relationships with store personnel
• Accurate reporting using Own Smart Device
• Time Management Skills - The ability to work under pressure

Role Requirements

• You will need to be over 18, have full Australian working rights
• Live in the advertised area/ surrounding suburbs
• Current State Drivers Licence & Reliable Road Worthy Vehicle
• Physically fit – Bending & Lifting - Carrying stock (Max 16 kgs)
• High Attention to detail & Strong planning skills
• Own Smart Device for Reporting
