Job summary

JBS Australia in Toowoomba region is seeking a Receptionist for an 8-month parental leave contract at the Beef City Plant, 35km west of Toowoomba. You’ll be the first point of contact for employees, visitors and external stakeholders, providing high-level administrative support across multiple departments.

You will manage front reception, assist with accounts payable, prepare spreadsheets, and coordinate meetings and site communications while upholding professionalism and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Experience in reception, administration or accounts payable support.
• Strong Excel and spreadsheet skills.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• High level of professionalism and customer service.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Ability to handle confidential information appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Managing front reception, visitor sign-in and site access procedures
• Answering and directing phone calls and email enquiries
• Providing administrative support to Operations and Management
• Assisting with accounts payable, invoice coding, maintaining and updating spreadsheets, liaising with vendors
• Purchase requisitions
• Filing, document control and general office administration
• Coordinating meetings, training sessions and site communications
• Collating weekly butcher shop orders and invoicing
• Organising catering for site functions
