Job summary

KFL Supermarket Wantirna South is seeking a dedicated fresh produce assistant to help maintain high standards in our fruit and veg department. You will rotate stock, monitor quality, restock displays and assist customers with inquiries, all while keeping the area clean and safe.

Flexibility is valued: early mornings, weekends and public holidays. Prior experience in a supermarket produce area is preferred; strong physical fitness and attention to detail are essential for success in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Experience in a supermarket fresh produce department or greengrocer preferred.
• Able to perform heavy lifting and stand for long periods.
• Excellent attention to detail to spot quality issues.
• Reliable and adaptable with a strong work ethic.
• Multilingual abilities (e.g., English with Mandarin or Cantonese) bonus.

Responsibilities

• Stock rotation and quality control to minimize waste.
• Replenish displays and maintain clean, visually appealing sections.
• Receive deliveries and lift/move crates safely.
• Greet customers and assist with product inquiries.
• Maintain hygiene and safety across the shop floor and cool room.
