Job summary

Centurion is seeking an experienced forklift operator to join our Mackay team. You will load and unload trucks, move freight around the yard, and assist with RF scanning to ensure accurate stock control and dispatch.

The role requires a current forklift licence, reliability, and the ability to work safely both independently and as part of a team on a Monday to Friday roster with immediate start. We provide training and upskilling, plus all PPE and uniforms, with a strong safety culture and

Job description

Centurion is seeking an experienced and motivated Forklift operator to join our on growing team. Your duties will include loading and unloading trucks, RF scanning, stock movements, and supporting day-to-day yard operations. You will play a key role in ensuring goods are received and dispatched accurately while maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work environment.

The ideal candidate will bring reliable and dedicated transport yard experience, a current forklift licence, and the ability to maximise trailer utilisation. You will be committed, safety-focused, and with the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.

Skills and Experience:

• Operating a Forklift Counterbalance (2.5T, 5T, 16T)
• Experienced in:
  • Loading, unloading and moving freight throughout the yard.
  • Handling general, ugly, palletised and oversize freight
  • Load restraint utilising straps and chains to secure freight
  • Working with RF scanners to ensure accuracy and compliance; however…
