Job summary

Sercanto in Bankstown, NSW, is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Operator in the freight sector for a full-time role. You will manage client portfolios, oversee rates and orders, and ensure timely shipment updates across networks. The role requires 2+ years in international freight forwarding and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of international freight forwarding experience.
• General freight forwarding training completed.
• Previous 3PL experience preferred.
• Experience in customer service within a similar organization.

Responsibilities

• Maintain portfolio of clients as assigned.
• Keep client work instructions and request SOP amendments.
• Monthly/quarterly rates maintenance for key customers.
• Manage order status reports and in-transit reports.
• Document customer shipping enquiries and update clients.
• Monitor network import shipments between origins and destinations.
• Communicate between clientele and networks.
• Take corrective actions to prevent non-conformances.
• Maintain personal training inventory and complete required training.
• Review customer purchase orders and resolve outstanding issues.
• Interact with clients and staff in a friendly, professional manner.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor/manager.
