Job summary

SIMPEC is seeking an experienced Franna Crane Operator (up to 25T) to support the Alkimos Desalination Plant construction in Western Australia. This 12+ month opportunity focuses on safe crane operation, lifting and positioning materials, and aiding installation activities across the project.

The successful candidate will have proven Franna operating experience on major infrastructure projects, a strong safety ethic and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative project team.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience operating Franna cranes up to 25 tonnes on construction or major projects.
• Strong understanding of lifting plans and site safety requirements.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate Franna cranes safely in line with lift plans and site procedures.
• Perform lifting, transporting and positioning of materials and equipment.
• Complete pre-start inspections and routine checks.
• Coordinate with riggers and construction crews during lifts.
• Maintain records and adhere to safety standards.
