Job summary

Monadelphous is seeking an experienced Franna Crane Operator to join our Gladstone team. This role offers day-to-night shifts on rotating rosters within the resources, energy and infrastructure sectors.

You will operate Franna cranes, perform pre-start checks, and work with riggers and supervisors to execute lifts safely, ensuring compliance with lift plans and site procedures.

Local candidates with a current CN licence, White Card, and right-to-work in Australia are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Current High Risk Work Licence – CN (Non-Slewing Mobile Crane).
• Experience operating Franna cranes in resources, construction or industrial environments.
• Current White Card.
• Valid Australian Driver’s Licence.
• Proof of right to work in Australia.
• Local to the Gladstone region.

Responsibilities

• Safely operating Franna cranes to lift, move and position materials and equipment.
• Conducting pre-start inspections and routine checks of crane equipment.
• Safely setting up and operating cranes in accordance with lift plans, site procedures and manufacturer requirements.
• Working closely with riggers, doggers, supervisors and other site personnel to safely execute lifting activities.
• Ensuring all lifting operations are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with project requirements.
• Identifying and reporting any equipment defects, hazards or safety concerns.
• Maintaining crane, tools and equipment in a safe and serviceable condition.
• Completing relevant documentation, pre-starts and safety requirements.
• Following all company, client and site safety procedures.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

• Safely operating Franna cranes to lift, move and position materials and equipment

What you’ll bring:
