Job summary

Bakers Delight is seeking a Franchise Operations Manager to oversee a portfolio of bakeries and partner with franchise owners to drive commercial performance and growth. You will split time between the office and in-market visits, using data to identify opportunities and deliver results.

Qualifications

• Commercially minded leader able to influence and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong people leadership and stakeholder management with credibility at all levels.
• Financial and commercial acumen including interpretation of P&L, sales and performance data.
• Solutions-focused and able to navigate complex situations, competing priorities and change to deliver positive outcomes.
• Experience in retail, operations, logistics, franchising or other customer-focused environments.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with business owners while following national and state guidance and working autonomously.
• Hold a current full Australian driver’s licence and be comfortable with travel between Perth and Currambine.

Responsibilities

• Own the commercial performance of a portfolio of Bakers Delight bakeries, building strong relationships with franchise partners and using P&L, sales and operational data to identify opportunities, levers and drive outcomes.
• Navigate complex and challenging situations, balancing competing priorities, stakeholder engagement and drive practical solutions.
• Navigate industry landscape and internal innovation and change management.
• Identify risks and opportunities across the network and initiate actions to improve business performance and operating profits.
• Work with franchisees and internal stakeholders on growth plans, new bakery openings, acquisitions and changeovers.
• Partner with National Support Office teams to implement initiatives that improve franchisee performance, brand performance and customer experience.
• Balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, spending time in bakeries to understand ground realities.
