Job summary

Bretts Timber and Hardware is seeking a Frame Assembler to join the Frame & Truss division in Hervey Bay. You will set up and operate plant, assist with cutting timber, and pack finished products for transport in a stable, full-time role.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years’ experience and/or knowledge of timber.
• Ability to interpret plans and production instructions.
• Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Handle wood products including assisting with cutting and measuring timber.
• Pack and load finished products for transportation.

Our Frame & Truss division is looking for a reliable Frame Assembler to join the team in Hervey Bay.

What You’ll Be Doing

Set up and operate plant and ancillary equipment to manufacture precision wall frames and roof trusses.

Handling wood products including assisting with cutting and measuring timber.

Pack and load finished products for transportation.

Maintain a safe and clean workstation, keeping tools and equipment in top condition.

What You’ll Bring

Minimum 1-2 years’ experience and/or knowledge of timber.

Ability to interpret plans and production instructions.

Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

High attention to detail and accuracy.
