Job summary

Timbertruss is Australia’s leading prefab manufacturer, specialising in Roof Trusses, Wall Frames, Posi Struts and Cassette Floor Panels. We are hiring for full-time shifts across Day, Afternoon and Night schedules, with comprehensive training provided and no prior experience required.

You will work hands-on with timber, operate tools and machinery, perform quality checks and help prepare orders for delivery to sites. Uniform and PPE are supplied, with above-award wages and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• No experience is necessary as full training is provided.
• Interest in working with timber and hands-on work required.
• Ability to perform basic safety and quality checks.

Responsibilities

• Use various tools including nail guns, saws, tape measures and hammers.
• Operate machinery to build prefab house frames.
• Pick timber and hardware orders.
• Perform quality checks on finished products.
• Strap jobs to be delivered to site.
• Count stock and select timbers for use.
• Operate a forklift (if licensed and required).

About the Role

We are looking for people who have an interest in working with timber and people who enjoy hands on work. No experience is necessary in this role, as full training will be provided.

We are currently recruiting for full-time positions across the below shifts.

• Day Shift: Monday - Friday: 6:00am - 2:11pm

• Afternoon Shift: Monday - Friday: 2:00pm - 10:11pm

• Night Shift: Sunday - Thursday: 10:00pm - 6:11am

Duties

• Use varioustools including nail guns, saws, tape measures, hammers etc.

• Operate a range of different machinery to build prefab house frames

• Picktimber and hardware orders

• Perform quality checks on finished products

• Strap jobs to be delivered to site

• Count stock and select timbers for use

• Operate a forklift (if licensed and required)
