Job summary

MSD is seeking an experienced Financial Analyst – Reporting & Automation in Sydney. The role focuses on modernising FP&A reporting, automating processes and delivering high-impact insights to support commercial decisions for AU/NZ markets.

You will build interactive Power BI dashboards, streamline month-end cycles and partner with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency and business performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field.
• CPA/CA/CIMA or equivalent is a plus.
• Solid FP&A, financial reporting, analytics or finance transformation experience.
• Advanced Power BI skills (DAX, Power Query).
• Experience with Power Automate, SQL, VBA and SAP.
• Experience with enterprise AI tools for finance workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards for commercial leaders.
• Automate repetitive reporting tasks across AU and NZ.
• Support month-end close, forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Improve reporting efficiency and speed with AI-enabled workflows.
• Ensure data integrity across models and automated refreshes.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate financial data into actionable insights.
• Collaborate with finance and commercial teams across ANZ.
