Trafalgar in New South Wales seeks an Assistant Finance / Power BI Analyst to join the Finance team, blending accounting fundamentals with Power BI dashboards, Dynamics 365 Business Central, and robust financial reporting to drive business decisions.

You will develop dashboards, support month-end close, and help improve financial processes across the organisation, requiring strong Excel skills, analytical thinking, and stakeholder collaboration.

Mansioni

• Act as a key user of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and support system improvements and user training.
• Create, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports based on business requirements.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journals, accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations.
• Support preparation of management accounts, financial reports, and variance analysis.
• Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support day-to-day accounting operations across the business.
• Provide backup support for payroll processing and payroll reconciliations.
• Analyse business performance data and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and reporting efficiency.
