Job summary

Silicon Quantum Computing (SQC) is hiring a Technical Project Manager to own end-to-end delivery schedules across hardware and software workstreams, including external partners and subcontractors. The role emphasizes structured risk management, budget control, and clear reporting to management and executives.

Based at our Sydney facility, you will coordinate across multiple teams, challenge engineering estimates, and escalate when delivery slips threaten milestones or sponsor commitments.

Qualifications

• Track record delivering complex technical programmes against fixed external milestones.
• Own detailed delivery schedules across hardware and software workstreams including external partners.
• Structured risk assessment with early mitigation plans and dependencies.

Responsibilities

• Own the detailed delivery schedule across multiple workstreams and partners.
• Maintain a credible critical path and ensure transparency across teams.
• Run structured risk assessments and update plans when blockers arise.
• Manage the programme budget and align spend with investor projections.
• Develop funding proposals and manage subcontractors and SOWs.
• Communicate clearly with engineers, management and executives.
