Job summary

FourQuarters Recruitment’s client is a fast-growing organisation in Australia seeking an FP&A Analyst to support project reporting and decision-making. The role reports to the Finance Manager with a dotted line to the Head of Finance and collaborates with Project Managers and senior stakeholders.

You will deliver weekly and monthly reporting, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis, and provide insights for executives.

Qualifications

• Hands-on finance professional with a track record in fast-paced environments.
• Infrastructure, construction or project-based experience preferred.
• Strong Excel, reporting and analytical skills.
• Comfortable in a manual finance environment; eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Weekly and monthly project reporting and analysis.
• Partner with Project Managers on project performance and cost reporting.
• Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Project and overhead cost analysis.
• Preparing reports and insights for ELT and SLT stakeholders.
• Supporting compliance, audit and technology initiatives.
• Assisting with process improvements and reporting enhancements.
• Working across ERP systems, with future exposure to Power BI.

The Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, with a dotted line into the Head of Finance, this broad FP&A Analyst role will provide support across finance and the wider business. You will work closely with Project Managers and senior stakeholders, delivering meaningful reporting and analysis to drive decision-making.
