Googong High School, a new public secondary school in NSW, is seeking a Special Education Teacher. Qualifications

• Approval to teach Special Education and/or experience teaching students with Autism and/or Mild Intellectual Disability.
• Ability to plan, implement and reflect on quality teaching programs that support students with complex needs.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to form strong relationships with staff, students and families.

Responsibilities

• Teach students with special education needs and contribute to developing a new multi-categorical support class.
• Collaborate with staff and families to support holistic learning and wellbeing.
• Participate in curriculum design within aLearning Sciences framework and RECONI skills ecosystem.
