Job summary

Skip Loans is seeking a senior data leader to own the data stack end to end, from ingestion to trusted, business-ready models. You will define metrics, build dashboards, and partner with multiple teams to turn questions into defensible decisions.

This founding role offers equity and a path to lead a data team as the business scales. You will shape the data function, establish governance, and leverage modern tools like Snowflake, Fivetran, and Hex to deliver decision-ready numbers across credit,

Qualifications

Own the production data stack end to end, from ingestion to trusted models.
Strong business-facing analysis to translate numbers into decisions.
Define metrics and maintain a data dictionary for consistent reporting.
Use AI deliberately with verification to move fast while preserving accuracy.

Responsibilities

Own the data stack end to end - ingestion to clean, business-ready models.
Model for trust with correct grain, keys and version control.
Establish and own metric definitions and a data dictionary.
Build core dashboards and regulator-facing reporting with defensible numbers.
Move toward a single source of truth with governed self-service.
Partner with Growth, Credit, Ops, Finance and Treasury to turn questions into decisions.
Use AI to accelerate work while maintaining rigorous verification.
