Job summary

Skip Loans is hiring a founding data lead to own the data stack end to end, from ingestion through to trusted, business-ready models and dashboards. You will define metrics, build the data dictionary, and partner with multiple teams to turn data into decisions.

You will shape a data function that scales with the business and may lead a data team in the future. You will work with Snowflake, Fivetran and Hex, building rigorous governance, testing and self-serve analytics while ensuring accuracy

Qualifications

5+ years across analytics engineering, data analysis or BI with end-to-end ownership.
Own production data stack from ingestion to model layer and dashboards.
Ability to turn numbers into decisions with business-facing analysis.

Responsibilities

Own the data stack end to end from ingestion to business-ready models.
Model for trust with proper grain, keys and structure; implement testing and versioning.
Establish metric definitions and a data dictionary so numbers mean the same.
Build core dashboards and board/regulator reporting with defensible numbers.
Move toward a single source of truth and scalable self-service.
Partner with Growth, Credit, Ops, Finance and Treasury to drive decisions.
Leverage AI to accelerate mechanical work while maintaining verification.
