Job summary

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of relevant curriculum and ability to teach literacy and numeracy.
• Experience planning high impact teaching strategies and evaluating impact.
• Experience monitoring student learning and using data to inform practice and give feedback.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, parents and colleagues.
• Commitment to ongoing professional learning to continually improve teaching quality.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups of students and individual students.
• Contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of curriculum programs.
• Undertaking other classroom duties as directed by the School Principal.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings and school activities.
• Provide clear, constructive feedback on student learning growth to students and parents.
