Job summary

Future Secure AI is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer in Australia to design, build, and operate production infrastructure powering AI Co-Workers. You will own end-to-end reliability, collaborating closely with product, AI, and engineering teams.

You will configure production-grade Kubernetes clusters, manage IaC with Terraform, and implement Helm workflows while thriving in varied client environments with due regard for security and scalability.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience with SDLC, CI/CD, and end-to-end delivery from design to operations.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Experience with ArgoCD or GitOps deployment approaches.
• Certifications such as CKA, CKAD, cloud, DevOps, or programming credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate reliable production infrastructure supporting AI Co-Workers.
• Design and configure production-grade Kubernetes clusters, not just operate workloads on top of an existing one.
• Own Kubernetes-based platforms used to deploy and run AI workloads.
• Build and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Implement and maintain Helm-based deployment workflows.
• Operate effectively in greenfield and brownfield customer environments with incomplete documentation.
• Leave environments in a clean, well-documented state for future maintenance.
• Partner with engineers to ensure systems are resilient, scalable, and secure.
