Job summary

Future Secure AI in Sydney is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to design, build, and operate platforms powering AI Co‑Workers. The role combines hands-on engineering with ownership of reliability end-to-end across product, AI, and engineering teams.

You will design production-grade Kubernetes clusters, implement IaC with Terraform and Helm workflows, and collaborate with engineers to ensure scalable, secure systems in both greenfield and customer environments.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of relevant professional experience.
• Hands-on Kubernetes experience with production deployments.
• Experience with cloud providers (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• CI/CD ownership and security considerations.
• Certifications such as CKA, CKAD, cloud credentials.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate reliable production infrastructure.
• Design and configure production-grade Kubernetes clusters.
• Own Kubernetes-based platforms used to deploy and run AI workloads.
• Build and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Implement and maintain Helm-based deployment workflows.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure resilience, scalability, and security.
• Leave environments well-documented for ongoing maintenance.
