Job summary

Zed Contracting in Queensland is hiring a skilled Formwork Carpenter for a permanent, full-time position with a 38-hour basic week. You will build and dismantle formwork, read plans, order materials, and assist concrete pours to ensure precise, high-quality results.

Requirements include AQF Certificate III or IV in carpentry/concreting, 2 years' experience, White Card, and a safety-focused attitude. Driving license desired; submissions close 26 July 2026.

Qualifications

• AQF Certificate III or IV in carpentry or concreting.
• At least 2 years of carpentry/concrete experience.
• Machinery experience preferred (2 years).
• Construction White Card.

Responsibilities

• Build, install, and dismantle formwork for concrete structures to spec.
• Read blueprints, drawings and plans to execute formwork tasks.
• Order materials per project requirements.
• Assist in concrete pouring and ensure formwork alignment for finish.
• Inspect formwork for quality against project standards.
• Maintain carpentry tools and equipment.
• Troubleshoot formwork issues during construction.
