Job summary

BB and EMMA.N Pty Ltd. requires an experienced Formwork Carpenter to support residential and commercial projects across the Perth region. You will work at multiple sites performing precision formwork carpentry to project plans and specifications.

Responsibilities include reading plans, selecting materials, installing formwork on site, and ensuring workmanship meets safety standards and building codes. OHS White Card and several years of civil formwork experience are essential.

Qualifications

AQF Certificate III/IV or 3+ years relevant experience may substitute for formal qualifications.
At least one year of full-time experience and ability to work independently to specifications and plans.
Must have OHS White Card and previous construction industry experience.

Responsibilities

Execute formwork carpentry to high standards while maintaining safety and company standards.
Read plans and specifications to determine dimensions, materials and installation processes.
Select materials suitable for formwork considering load-bearing capacity, durability and reuse.
Construct and install formwork on-site and remove after concrete curing.
Interpret plans/engineer drawings to meet exacting standards.
Maintain tools and equipment in safe condition.
Estimate materials and costs as needed.
