Job summary

BB and EMMA.N Pty Ltd. is seeking experienced Formwork Carpenters for multiple sites across the Perth region. You will read plans, select materials, and install formwork for residential and commercial projects in a fast-paced environment.

Applicants should have AQF Certificate III (or IV) with civil formwork experience, be able to work to specifications, hold an OHS white card, and demonstrate strong teamwork and safety commitment.

Qualifications

• AQF Certificate III in a relevant trade with on-site training.
• Minimum one year of full-time experience and ability to work to specifications.
• OHS white card and construction-industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute formwork carpentry to company standards and safety.
• Read plans and specifications to determine dimensions, materials and processes.
• Select materials for formwork construction considering load, durability and reusability.
• Create formwork matching concrete shapes and dimensions.
• Install formwork on-site and remove after concrete curing.
• Maintain tools and machinery in safe operating condition.
• Prepare drawings for construction and repair projects.
• Estimate costs and order materials and parts.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Liaise professionally with clients and other trades.
