Australian Caravan Centre in Chinderah is seeking a dedicated and reliable Yard Hand to join our team. This full-time role focuses on maintaining the presentation of caravans and ensuring the yard and dealership look its best.

You will detail caravans, perform general maintenance, and assist with caravan movement around the site. A forklift licence is required, and your hands-on approach, attention to detail, and team spirit will help keep our yard tidy and efficient.

Qualifications

• Forklift licence required and related experience is highly regarded.
• Experience with forklift operation, detailing and general maintenance is advantageous.
• Ability to identify and report maintenance or repair needs efficiently.
• Hands-on experience with yard maintenance, cleaning and caravan movement.
• Strong attention to detail, time management and self-motivation.

Responsibilities

• Detailing of new and used caravans to be ready for delivery and shows.
• General maintenance around the dealership and workshop, including rubbish collection, gardening, painting, and yard tidiness.
• Assist with movement of caravans around the dealership and workshop.
• Maintain a clean and well-presented yard at all times.
• Keep caravans on display in top condition.
• Identify and report any necessary caravan repairs.
• Operate forklift to assist with dealership logistics.

Australian Caravan Centre are seeking a dedicated and reliable Yard Hand to join our team at Chinderah Location. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic team, ensuring the presentation of our caravans and dealership is maintained to the highest standard.

As a Yard Hand, you will take pride in maintaining a clean and organised dealership. A natural handyman, you will assist with general maintenance, caravan detailing, and yard duties. Your ability to work both independently and within a team will be essential in ensuring the smooth daily operations of the dealership.

Full-Time Position
Monday - Friday | 9.00am -5.00pm

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

• Ensuring all new and used caravans are immaculately detailed and ready for delivery and industry shows.
• Performing general maintenance around the dealership and workshop, including rubbish collection, gardening, painting, and keeping the yard tidy.
• Assisting with the movement of caravans around the dealership and workshop, including Service, Warranty, and Pre-Delivery caravans.
• Maintaining a clean and well-presented yard at all times.
• Keeping caravans on display in top condition.
• Identifying and reporting any necessary caravan repairs.
• Forklift operation to assist with dealership logistics.

About You:

• Qualifications: Forklift licence required, and experience in a similar role is highly regarded.
• Technical Skills: Prior experience with forklift operation, detailing, and general maintenance will be advantageous.
• Problem Solving: Ability to identify and report maintenance or repair needs efficiently.
• Hands-On Skills: Experience with yard maintenance, cleaning, and caravan movement.
• Personal Attributes: Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and self-motivation.
• Team Spirit: A collaborative attitude and ability to work effectively within a team.
