Job summary

Caravan HQ is expanding its workshop team at Yatala, Queensland, inviting practical and motivated individuals to start a hands-on career in caravan assembly and related workshop tasks. This role is ideal for someone handy with tools and eager to learn, with a supportive team environment where no two days are the same.

With on-the-job training, you’ll assist with assembling caravans, cabinetry, and basic 12V plumbing/electrical fit-outs, while performing maintenance, pre-delivery inspections, and

Qualifications

• Hands-on worker with practical skills.
• Able to work in a team and follow instructions.

• Holds a valid Australian driver's licence.
• Experience in trades/assembly/workshop preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with caravan components fitting and assembly.
• Support cabinetry and furniture installation.
• Perform basic 12V plumbing and electrical fit-outs.
• Carry out general caravan maintenance and repairs.
• Support pre-delivery inspections for new/used vans.
• Clean, detail, and present caravans for delivery.

What You’ll Be Doing

With training provided, you’ll assist with a wide range of stage 2 caravan assembly and workshop duties, including:

• Fitting and assembling caravan components and accessories
• Assisting with cabinetry and furniture installation
• Basic plumbing and electrical fit-outs (12V)
• General maintenance and repairs on caravans
• Pre-delivery inspections for new and used vans
• Cleaning, detailing, and presentation of caravans
• Workshop support and assembly-related tasks
