Job summary

Synergie Group is seeking a hands-on labourer for a busy organics processing facility in Pinkenba, Brisbane. You will support daily operations across the organics plant and recovery areas, with duties spanning equipment operation, housekeeping and general labouring tasks on a Monday–Friday roster.

Role includes operating a front-end loader and forklift, with full training provided and potential for full-time conversion for the right candidate. Apply now to join a growing essential industry team.

Qualifications

• Experience operating front-end loader or forklift is highly regarded.
• Forklift Licence and/or Loader Ticket advantageous but not essential.
• Experience in recycling, waste, manufacturing, logistics or resource recovery desirable.
• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to identify and solve basic operational issues.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe workplace.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate the de-packaging and organics processing plant.
• Operate a front-end loader to feed materials into the processing system.
• Operate a forklift to move and empty bins as required.
• Clean and maintain plant equipment and machinery.
• Water blast floors and maintain high housekeeping standards across the facility.
• Assist with general yard maintenance and operational duties.
• Follow all site safety procedures and environmental requirements.
• Work collaboratively with the operations team to achieve production targets.

Location: Pinkenba

Shifts: 7am starts with overtime

Rate: $39.45an hour
