Job summary

360 Personnel is seeking a motivated general labourer for an industrial coatings facility in Brisbane. The role involves heavy lifting, yard work, and occasional forklift operation, with a morning shift from 5:00am to 1:00pm.

You will assist with preparation and handling of components, loading/unloading materials, and supporting production teams while maintaining safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial labouring, manufacturing, or yard work preferred.
• Ability to perform repetitive manual handling tasks and lift heavy items.
• Strong focus on workplace safety procedures and compliance.
• Reliable and punctual with the ability to work afternoon/morning shifts consistently.

Responsibilities

Shift:Morning shiftShift (5:00am to 1:00pm)
Pay Rate: $34.96per hour
Role Split: Forklift Operation 10% / General Labouring 90%

Role Overview

This position supports the day-to-day operations of a busy industrial coatings facility. The role is primarily focused on general labouring tasks within a production and yard environment, with occasional forklift operation to assist with materials handling, loading/unloading, and site logistics.

You will be part of a team ensuring smooth workflow across production, preparation, and dispatch areas while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

General Labouring (Majority of role):

• Assisting with preparation and handling of steel and metal components for coating processes
• Loading/unloading materials and moving stock around the yard and facility
• Masking, cleaning, and basic preparation of items prior to coating
• Supporting production teams with manual handling tasks
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work environment
• Following all site procedures and WHS requirements

Forklift Operation (Minor component):

• Operating forklift to move materials, pallets, and finished goods
• Loading and unloading trucks safely and efficiently
• Storing materials in designated areas
• Conducting basic pre-start checks on forklift equipment

Skills & Experience Required

• Current valid Forklift Licence (LF)
• Previous experience in industrial labouring, manufacturing, or yard work preferred
• Ability to perform repetitive manual handling tasks
• Strong awareness of workplace safety procedures
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work afternoon shifts consistently
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment

Physical Requirements

• Comfortable with heavy lifting and physically demanding work
• Standing, bending, and repetitive movement for extended periods
• Working in an industrial outdoor/warehouse environment
