Job summary

Galaxy 2014 is seeking a reliable Warehouse Operator for a temporary assignment starting immediately in Melbourne. This dayshift role runs 7.30am to 3.36pm for approximately 3-4 months for the right candidate.

Duties include picking/packing, dispatching, wrapping pallets for freight, and loading/unloading stock with a forklift, plus accurate stock checks in the inward goods area. Must have full Australian work rights and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Must be available for the duration of the work assignment.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Confidence in operating forklift and unloading stock.
• High attention to detail and accurate stock checks.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• PPE gear: steel capped boots, Hi-Vis, work pants.

Temp assignment starting immediately - must be able to operate Counterbalance forklifts.

This role will be dayshift for approximately 3-4 month assignment for the right person

Hours are Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 3.36pm.

Daily duties may include:

• Picking/Packing and dispatching
• Wrapping pallets for freight collection at end of day and other warehouse duties
• Use a fork lift, load /unload trucks/vans, check off stock in the inward goods area
• Strong attention to detail

Requirements include, but not limited to:
