Job summary

Labourforce are seeking experienced storeman / forklift Operators to work for our clients in Perth's Southern Suburbs, including Forrestfield, Canning Vale and Kewdale.

You will operate forklifts, perform pick packing using pick sheets and RF scanners, and handle palletised freight in a busy warehouse environment. A roster from Monday to Friday and morning shifts (6am start) are available, with potential for temp to perm. You must be able to pass pre-employment medical and drug tests.

Qualifications

• Forklift operator experience essential (minimum 2 years in Australia).
• Australian C class drivers license (automatic or manual).
• Unlimited working rights in Australia (no WHV or Student Visas).
• Ability to lift 30+ kgs and work in a busy DC.

Responsibilities

• Pick packing with pick sheets and RF scanners.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in a busy warehouse.

Job description

Labourforce are currently seeking experienced storeman / forklift Operators to work for our clients in Perth's Southern Suburbs (Forrestfield, Canning Vale, Kewdale, etc).

About the role:

• Must be able to work a roster from Monday - Friday
• AM Shifts on Offer (6am - 8am starts depending on client)
• Pay rate from $34p/h (casual loading included)
• Warehouse environment, pick packing various products using pick sheets, RF Scanners, pallet jacks and forklifts - HEAVY LIFTING REQUIRED
• Temp to perm opportunity

You will need:

• Unlimited working rights in Australia (hours are full time, no WHV or Student Visas due to restrictions)
• Forklift operator experience essential (minimum of 2 years in Australia)
• Australian C class drivers license (automatic or manual)
• Own car to get to/from work
• Ability to lift 30+ kgs at once
• Have excellent recent pick pack experience in busy DC
• Experience using RF scanners and pick sheets
• Previous experience with and able to meet KPI's
• Have excellent attention to detail
• Have good written and verbal communication skills
• Be fit, healthy and able to perform heavy lifting when required
• High level of pride in work
• Ability to work well within a team environment

All successful candidates will need to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol test.
You will then be subject to random drug and alcohol testing on site
