Job summary

Cogent Resources in Australia is seeking an experienced forklift operator for a pharmaceutical/food manufacturing site. The role is ongoing (Mon-Fri) with day shift and a focus on accuracy and GMP compliance.

Duties include operating counterbalance and high reach forklifts, unloading/loading trucks, and moving materials between production and warehouse areas. Applicants must hold an LF license and have 12 months (3+ years preferred) forklift experience, with full work rights.

Job description

Our client is a well-established and highly respected pharmaceutical manufacturer with over 30 years of experience producing premium complementary medicines and vitamins.

We are currently looking for an ongoing (Monday to Friday) experienced forklift operators (high reach and counterbalance). This is a fast paced role that requires accuracy and strong attention to detail.

Please note: This is a forklifting and warehouse store person role in food manufacturing production environment

At least 2-3 years of forklift driving (counterbalance and high reach) is required for this role.

This is a temp to perm opportunity.

Day Shift: 7am to 3.10pm

Please note this is a temp to perm opportunity.

This role will include, but is not limited to:

• Operating a counterbalance forklift
• Operating high reach forklift (6+ racks high)
• Unloading and loading trucks
• Safely operate a forklift to transport raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished products between designated areas of the manufacturing facility.

Desired skills and experience:

• Valid LF license
• Minimum of 12 months experience operating a forklift, over 3 years of experience is preferred
• Ability to comply with GMP protocols
• Strong attention to detail
