Job summary

The Pentarch Group is seeking candidates to join our Mary Valley timber manufacturing operations. You will operate mobile plant and forklift to support production of high‑quality timber products at Melawondi & Imbil, with a 4‑day week and afternoon shifts from 2pm. Training will start on morning shifts.

This permanent, full‑time role offers overtime opportunities, paid super, and a strong health and safety culture. Collaboration in a team and opportunities for growth are highlighted.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a forklift is essential.
• A high‑risk forklift licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to move, load and unload product.

• Sort and strap loads.
• General labouring and keeping the work area clean and debris‑free.

About the Position

We are seeking candidates with a can-do attitude and strong work ethic to join our Mary Valley timber manufacturing operations. You will operate mobile plant to assist in our production processes of high-quality timber products. We are looking for candidates interested in the positions at Melawondi & Imbil covering 4 day weeks with afternoon shifts from 2pm. Please note you will be required to start on morning shifts for training purposes.

Key responsibilities include but not limited to:

• The use of a forklift (LF License Required) to move, load and unload product


• Daily machinery and equipment pre-start inspections.


• Sorting and strapping loads


• General labouring duties including ensuring the work area is clean and free of debris on an ongoing basis.


• Inventory management and database entry


• Having a constant focus on health & safety across all areas of our site.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Previous experience in operating a Forklift or is essential.


• A high-risk forklift licence is essential.


• A positive attitude at work, whilst being reliable and punctual.


• A strong commitment to safety is essential.


• Knowledge of the timber industry is favourable.


• The ability to work effectively within a team environment and produce work to a high standard.
