Job summary

Horner Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Stores Person / High Reach Forklift Operator for a busy distribution operation in Parkinson. The role focuses on accurate stock handling, order picking/packing, and safe forklift operation to support efficient dispatch.

You will use RF scanning, manage stock movement, and contribute to a tidy, safe warehouse. This is a Monday–Friday position with $36+ per hour and potential overtime, offering weekly pay and opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Stores Person in a busy warehouse or distribution centre.
• Current LF Forklift Licence.
• Strong High Reach forklift experience.
• Previous pick packing experience.
• Dispatch and freight experience considered advantageous.
• RF scanning experience beneficial.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to safely move and handle stock.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• LO licence is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.
• Operate High Reach forklifts safely and confidently.
• Load and unload stock.
• Receive and put away incoming stock.
• Prepare orders for dispatch and freight.
• Replenish stock and maintain inventory flow.
• RF scanning and warehouse systems use.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as required.
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.

About the Role

Working within a busy distribution centre, you will play an important role in ensuring stock is accurately received, stored, picked and dispatched.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently
• Operating High Reach forklifts safely and confidently
• Loading and unloading stock
• Receiving and putting away incoming stock
• Preparing orders for dispatch and freight
• Replenishing stock and maintaining inventory flow
• RF scanning and warehouse systems

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will have:
