Steel Hub in Spring Creek, QLD is hiring a Storeperson / Forklift Operator for a full-time role within our warehousing and distribution team. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, and dispatching steel and rural products on-site, while upholding our safety and inventory standards.

Qualifications

• Valid forklift licence or certification.
• Experience in a warehouse, distribution centre, or similar logistics environment.
• Ability to work efficiently and meet productivity targets while maintaining safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling inventory and order picking.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely to move and store materials throughout the warehouse.
• Receive and process incoming shipments, checking goods against documentation.
• Organise storage areas to maximise space and accessibility.
• Pick and pack orders for dispatch with accuracy.
• Conduct regular stock checks and cycle counts to maintain inventory.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of warehouse and yard.
• Identify/damage discrepancies and report maintenance issues promptly.
• Follow health and safety procedures to maintain a safe environment.
• Load/unload trucks with materials and secure loads.
• Support the warehouse team with additional duties as required.
