Job summary

K&S Freighters in Victoria is seeking a hands-on warehouse operator to support our import and export activities. You will load and unload shipping containers and trucks, and operate counterbalance forklifts from 2.5 to 16 tonnes to move ugly freight sizes such as timber lengths and aluminium coils.

Applicants must hold a valid forklift licence, have a minimum of 12 months forklift experience, and demonstrate strong English literacy and a safety‑conscious, team‑oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Valid forklift licence and 12+ months experience operating a counterbalance forklift.
• Strong English literacy for paperwork and communication.
• Commitment to safety regulations and safe yard operations.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload shipping containers and trucks for import and export.
• Operate counterbalance forklifts from 2.5 to 16 tonnes.
• Put stock away, stage for despatch and move goods around warehouse.
• Complete paperwork for goods receipt and despatch.
• Participate in stocktakes and other ad hoc duties as required.
