Job summary

K&S Corporation is hiring a hands-on forklift operator to support loading/unloading across containers and trucks, with emphasis on safety and efficiency. The role requires operating forklifts up to 16 tonnes and applying load restraints in a fast-moving operation.

The primary responsibilities of this role include loading and unloading of containers and trucks using forklifts up to 16 tonnes.

Manual handling and load restraint are a major part of the job.

This opportunity is ideal for a team-player with a positive attitude ready to contribute and be cross skilled in all areas of the operation.

You will:

• Hold a valid forklift licence and have experience in forklift & combilift operations up to 16 tonnes


• Be confident with loading and unloading containers and trucks and application of load restraints.


• Communicate effectively and follow instructions


• Be willing to be cross trained in different areas of the operation including warehousing and stock take and the company SAP system


• Have a strong commitment to safety regulations, ensuring the yard and warehouse safety standards are adhered to


• Be open to undertaking other ad hoc duties or tasks as they arise
