Job summary

K&S Freighters in Brisbane is seeking a reliable forklift operator to support import/export activities. You will load/unload containers and trucks, operate counterbalance forklifts from 2.5 to 16 tonnes, and ensure safe handling of goods through accurate despatch paperwork.

Applicants must hold a valid forklift license, have at least 12 months' experience, and demonstrate strong English communication. A safety‑focused mindset and a team approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid forklift license and 12+ months experience operating a counterbalance forklift.

• Ability to load/unload containers and trucks with load restraints.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload shipping containers and trucks for import and export.
• Operate forklifts 2.5 to 16 tonnes.
• Put stock away, stage for despatch and move goods around warehouse.
• Complete paperwork for goods receipt and despatch.
• Participate in stocktakes and other ad hoc duties.
