Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse/distribution operations.
• Ability to operate RF scanners and forklift equipment.
• Physically fit and able to lift repetitively.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts (counterbalance) in a warehouse setting.
• High-reach forklift operation in designated bays.
• Pick and pack pallets and units using RF scanning.
• Work within a freezer/chiller environment.
• Store and maintain materials, equipment and tools.
• Identify and escalate food safety and quality hazards to leadership.

Daily Tasks

• Forklift operating (counterbalance experience is a must)
• High-reach forklift operation in some areas, 7 bays high, single bay deep
• Both pallet and unit picking and packing using RF scanning and high-reach RC and RM forklifts for both warehouse and truck loading/unloading operations
• Working within a freezer/chiller environment
• Storing andmaintainingmaterials, equipment, and tools
• Identifying and escalating Food Safety & Quality, hazard, and risk issues to the relevant leadership teams

You will bring to this role

• Warehouse and/or Distribution experience or similar required
• Experience with RF scanners
• Understand and follow instructions and procedures
• Work well independently, within a team environment
• Communicate well both written and verbally
• Showing commitment, reliability, and motivation
• Respond calmly when faced with obstacles
• Physically fit and repetitively lift 5kg-15kg
• Flexibility to cover various shifts such as regular weekend work and public holidays
