Job summary

Workpac Group is recruiting for a Yard Hand/Forklift Operator in Morayfield, Queensland. The role runs Monday–Friday with shifts from 5:00 AM–1:00 PM or 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, based in our Morayfield yard.

You will load steel onto trucks and pallets using a forklift, pack products as ordered, operate reinforcement bar machines, and keep the workplace clean. The ideal candidate will have a valid Driver’s Licence, be physically fit, and able to pass PEM/D&A screening.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport.
• Physically fit for lifting and manual handling.
• Ability to pass PEM/D&A screening.

Responsibilities

• Load steel onto trucks using the forklift.
• Load steel onto pallets by hand and with forklift.
• Pack products as per order sheet.
• Operate machines to manufacture reinforcing bars.
• Maintain cleanliness of the factory.

What You Will Be Doing

They are currently seeking a Yard Hand/Forklift Operator, to join their team out of their Morayfield yard. This is a Monday – Friday position, with shift times of 5AM - 1PM and 7AM to 3PM.

• Loading steel onto trucks using the forklift
• Loading steel onto pallets by hand and also forklift
• Packing products (mainly steel) as per an order sheet
• Operate machines to manufacture reinforcing bars
• Maintain cleanliness of the factory
