Job summary

Worksforyou is seeking a reliable Forklift Operator to join a busy steel fabrication site in Mitchell & Queanbeyan, with an immediate start.

Hours are 6:00am to 2:30pm, Monday to Friday, with the role initially for around one month and potential for ongoing work for the right person. You will operate a forklift to load and unload steel products, move materials safely, assist with yard and warehouse duties, and ensure a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications

• Valid Forklift Licence.
• Previous forklift experience preferred.
• Experience handling steel or construction materials is an advantage.

FORKLIFT OPERATOR - STEEL FABRICATION

We are seeking a reliable Forklift Operator to join a busy steel fabrication company for an immediate start.

This role is initially for around one month, with the potential to lead to ongoing work for the right person.

Location: Mitchell & Queanbeyan

Pay Rate: $35 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating a forklift to load and unload steel products
• Moving and organising steel materials safely
• Loading trucks and preparing materials for delivery
• Assisting with general yard and warehouse duties
• Ensuring safe handling and storage of materials
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area

Requirements:

• Valid Forklift Licence
• Previous forklift experience preferred

• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to follow safety procedures
• Physically fit and comfortable working in a busy environment
