Job summary

Workpac Group is seeking a Factory Hand for its Helensvale yard/warehouse on a Monday to Friday schedule, starting at 7am for 8-hour days. This temp-to-perm role includes welding steel, forklift loading, pallet handling, packing orders, operating bar manufacturing machines, and keeping the factory clean.

A drug and alcohol screen is required. Applicants must hold a valid driver’s licence with reliable transport; a High Risk Forklift Ticket is desirable but not mandatory, and physical fitness is

• PEM/D&A screening required.

Responsibilities

• Welding steel.
• Loading steel onto trucks using the forklift.
• Loading steel onto pallets.
• Packing products (mainly steel) as per an order sheet.
• Operate machines to manufacture reinforcing bars.
• Maintain cleanliness of the factory.

What you will be doing

They are currently seeking a Factory Hand, to join to their team out of their Helensvale yard/warehouse. This is a Monday - Friday position commencing at 7am working 8-hour days. You will be trained and responsible for the following duties;

• Welding steel
• Loading steel onto trucks using the forklift
• Loading steel onto pallets
• Packing products (mainly steel) as per an order sheet
• Operate machines to manufacture reinforcing bars
• Maintain cleanliness of the factory

The successful candidate will be required to pass a drug and alcohol screening.
