Job summary

SKUTOPIA is a deep-tech logistics company delivering AI-powered robotic fulfilment from Melbourne. We are seeking a Permanent Forklift Operator to join our new Distribution Centre in Altona, supporting up to 10,000 orders daily as we scale.

You will uphold safety, accuracy and efficiency across inventory handling and warehousing tasks. Ideal candidates have a current forklift licence and experience with counterbalance or high reach forklifts, plus reliable, detail-focused teamwork to keep

Qualifications

• Current valid forklift licence.
• Experience using a counterbalance or high reach forklift.
• Ability to follow and improve the site\'s traffic management plan as we scale.
• Basic computer experience.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and organised work environment.

Responsibilities

• 3+ years experience as a Forklift Operator (Counter balance experience preferred).
• Conducting pre-start checks and basic maintenance.
• Receive and putaway inventory.
• Adhere to strict safety, quality and fulfilment standards.
• Be on your feet for the majority of the day including lifting and bending to reach products on racking, climbing stairs, walking and standing.
• Collaborate with fellow team members and supervisors to optimise workflows and ensure all warehouse tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Maintain a clean working environment - taking out the rubbish, cardboard etc.

We are looking for a Permanent Forklift Operator to contribute to a high performing fulfilment team.

Key Responsibilities:

• 3+ years experience as a Forklift Operator (Counter balance experience preferred)
