Job summary

SKUTOPIA is seeking a Warehouse Operative to support our National Distribution Centre in Altona, Melbourne. You will be on your feet most of the day, picking and packing orders and helping with inventory putaway using our robotics fulfilment technology.

Applicants should be near Altona, have basic computer skills, and be reliable, punctual, and a strong communicator. Expect a collaborative, supportive team culture with opportunities to grow within the company.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack orders.
• Receive and putaway inventory.
• On your feet for the majority of the day including lifting and bending to reach products on racking, climbing stairs, walking and standing.
• Work with fluctuating warehouse temperatures from 25°C to 35°C.
• Adhere to strict safety, quality and fulfilment standards.
• Maintain a clean working environment - taking out the rubbish, cardboard etc.

About the team

You will be working with the talented and compassionate Operations team at our unique National Distribution Centre located in Altona, Melbourne. You will be joining a small agile team to help fulfil orders for Australian small businesses using our innovative robotics fulfilment technology.

About this Role

• Pick and pack orders

• Working with fluctuating warehouse temperatures from 25°C to 35°C

To be successful, you will need:

• Must have the right to work in Australia and be based near to Altona. You may need to drive as there is limited public transport in the area.
• Age 16 or older
• Basic Computer experience
• Reliable and punctual
• Good communication skills - able to assist team members
• Positive ‘can-do’ attitude in achieving results
